Depends on 1s or 2s, In 2s shed be way better off. High damage and attacks that magnetize the opponent back towards u are pretty good for team play.
Same with Jason, he's a pretty good 2s teammate but lacks alot of tools in 1s. Still would prob need some buffs tho

Hi, I think it comes down to timing. Spamming doge whilst the attack animation is in play will do nothing. If you press towards end of animation and predict the opponents movement then you should be ok. Morty is generally a light weight so you just have to anticipate this would happen. I believe morty is a hard character to play, if you can master his combos then basically any opponent will be light work, watch veriflied on yt, decent.

• 0:42 you miss a ground wall, then went to go for ANOTHER one (even tho T&J was far). I’m suggesting you PUSH Tom after that first miss, watch how T&J follows up your first ground attack miss to a finishing move near edge.

• 0:29 you go for picking up the bombs, T&J was already on the edge of map flustered on getting control. Screw that bombs at that point, get more map control by keeping the pressure.

You need to be spacing with Bugs a lot more. His rocket is a good tool to use against IG but you need to set it up more carefully. The pie is a good one too but against IG he can usually eat that one up (better used for a Shaggy match up). Anyways you need to to PUNISH when IG comes towards you, or look for the “final loop” in that one move he does so you can time your first attack better. Do not be aggressive as you were in this clip against other IGs. Take your time! USE BUGS SAFE to approach IG; it’ll make a great knock back and even getting the sandwich can offer a great follow up attack. Lots of possibilities; biggest problem here was your zoning & spacing. IG kept control the entire game.

I would like to remind y'all that i was playing jason. I can't approach through the fire, i can't approach through the projectiles, the only thing i could do was teleport into a predictable spot, making rage for when i do approach kind of necessary in order to have a chance to respond post teleport. This is an issue Jason has with any zoner, not just RD.
The only true response i can think of is having the shield perk active next time, but even then that can only get me so far.

I've used the perk on other zoners before and it doesn't help as much as you think it does, even if you walk through the projectiles they still have the opportunity to hit you before you can throw out another attack because Jason doesn't have any option that is fast enough to respond after eating a projectile.
