With the walls removed, you can lose neutral once and die very early or get hit with something stupid at low % like Shaggy side b. The walls getting removed was a good thing, but the blast zones should have been increased since there is no longer a wall that needs to be broken. By the time the walls would break, you would be at close to 50% on average so dying "early" didnt feel as bad IMO. Now without it, you can get killed early by bs such as Bugs up airing you twice at low %.

I can't speak on finn cuz I haven't played him in a bit but Harley is fine. She sneezes and she'll do a combo. Almost all of her moves lead into some combo or another if you're struggling w Harley of all characters idk what to say.

Just randomly press buttons and you'll do fine w her. Steven and Garnet could use some love moves wise tho. Garnet overall is pretty solid but it feels like devs had no idea what to do with her outside of make her punch a lot. Her Sapphire side is completely unexplored. No future vision/ice powers or anything. It's like all they did was watch Stronger than You and then went from there w making her moves. As for Steven. I've been practicing him and I really don't get what he's supposed to do. Everything he uses has some sort of long cool down and his rose power takes way too long to build because his utilities are anchored w cool downs. It feels like he's been given the least love in the game.

Get really good with the dodge mechanic, play as your character of choice a lot so you can work through how to take out opponents, some of which may be the same character, and be sure to keep an eye on cooldowns. If folks start targeting you after the highest damage person gets rung out, you will need a pretty heavy duty special prepped.

Like I remember some characters have unique lines of dialogue directed to specific characters if they’re paired with them. Or if you faced them in 1v1’s

Like I remember Garnet had a line directed at Lebron. Marvin had one directed at Bugs. And some new characters post launch have lines in the files that sound like they’re meant to be heard in the victory screen.

Yet when the game launched this aspect was just gone. I know it’s probably a “nothing issue”, but it added some charm and I’ve been curious as to why it just got the axe.

Was trying to do some grinding for the upcoming power pledge.
seems the Computer fight no longer gives XP as other rifts battles still do.
And it's still effected by time and not damage, as I doing some testing.
So I think they went out of their way to remove it, since it was easy to grind passively.

For anyone wanting to do the Power Pledge event quickly without doing any PVP matches, it seems the computer node on the Techno Terror Rift doesn't give out XP anymore and is considered a minigame like the Volleyball, Racing and Golf nodes in the future rifts we'll get. The computer node doesn't show the match summary screen after you complete it now, so I have to assume the ability to get XP from that node was patched out between the previous Power Pledge event and this current Power Pledge event.

Although, you can still do any rift node that has you fighting an enemy to get XP for your character that way, since those nodes do show the match summary screen after you complete the node with a victory.

Boy, when the devs realize fixing all the glaring Hitbox/Hurtbox issues will cement more positive feedback than new characters, this game is gonna be sooooo good.

Getting hit on the regular by moves that visually miss is such a bummer. I can’t even really single out single character either. So many moves hit when they visually miss, and miss when they visually make contact with the characters frame that’s is hard to say that one character’s kit is worse than any others.

Anyways, how’s everyone’s Ranked grind going? I seem to be having people concede when I win a match and getting absolutely washed if they finish the set at all 😂

At least for 1s it was seeming kinda crazy, switched to 2s and it seems a lot more reasonable.

If you wanna know the exact amount, play a match with the character you wanna see how close you are with and after the match breakdown when it shows you your mission progress, look on the right. One of the 3 bars is the character level xp, one is for battlepass level, and the last is account level I think or event xp

I got the $100 founder pack in beta and put down for $50 glemium at relaunch. Since then have only bought the $5/1000 pack on playstation and the $5 gizmo/stripe 1000 glemium pack (only got it for the gleam lol).

$5 = 1000 glemium feels like the best balance for the game. I know it would upset a lot of people who have dropped money but I hope they make that adjustment one day.

As far as stages go it’s basically a visual variant of stage already present in game and it seems sorta lazy

not quite like that, no. i'm on console, but even the console crashes never happened like that. more often you'd have a long wait at the pre-match screen, then the map would load and little circles for where the characters would be, then there'd be nothing happening but the music playing, the timer stuck at 7:00, and eventually an error code

The weekly missions will refresh tomorrow, and considering that the "Claim Daily Store Items" mission seems to be a consistent Weekly Mission for Season 3, I would strongly advise not claiming the new daily store item immediately once the store refreshes at 8 PM EST (<t:1727740800:t>), but rather once the new set of daily/weekly missions come in tomorrow at 7 AM EST (<t:1727780400:t>), since claiming the free store item before the missions refresh will not count towards the progress of the mission. It's not much progress, but you'll get the 750 battle pass EXP a day early in the end.

Get today's free daily store item once the weekly missions refresh <t:1727780400:R> so that it counts for the mission if it were to appear once it refreshes tomorrow, so that it counts for the mission and so that you can get the reward for completing the mission as soon as possible. Sure, it's tough since the free reward is 20 Gleamium, but it's better to claim it later and make it count for the mission than claiming it now and having to wait one more day to complete the mission.

Ive went from console to pc and pc is much worse. Character rubber bands to the spawn point at random times, jump and attacks not coming out, ive had more crashes then ranked matches with how many time its crashed during que and middle of matches

I play on Xbox One, since PSN us down.

While not as good as the PS5 version, it us still playable and I got some missions completed.

I won't even bother with PC, as my laptop isn't a gaming laptop and is prone to lagging on games NOT made in the 90s.

I just cleared the Batman Rift on Easy AND Crushing...and was surprised at how easy it was (then again, I have a Lv. 8 Batman and Lv. 8-9 Heroic Gems that are now Lv. 10 after playing through the rift.)

Also, I love the new Batman '89 Variant.
