And three is my main one and it’s a lack of consistent character portrayal. Characters overly shift in how they’re portrayed on a whim sometimes despite prior developments. Morty has generally developed into a more mature character but despite that there are still times where he reverts to being an idiot. Rick has consistent issues where he flip flops at sheer random one episode he’s depressed, next he’s an egotistical genius who is basically god, next he’s pathetic and can’t do jack, etc.

I just feel like SU is… wasted potential in every regard due to a combination of artistic and writing directions that don't really vibe when put together.

But taking all those concepts, mashing them together, inconsistently delivering on all these premises, mixed with inconsistencies in the art, and the huge focus on steven's point of view at all times doesn’t work well with me.

Speaking of point of view imagine if a show like Atla only focused in aang key episodes like zuko alone and the souther raiders could not develop their respective characters as individuals. Notice how the one character who benfits the most from being attached to steven’s perspective is also the one who develops the most (peridot). And then you have an episode where pearl pursues a look alike of steven’s mom with amethyst and it for some god forsaken reason includes Steven just existing there. The creator of the show Rebecca sugar says it’s essential that Steven is there since it’s his show but doesn’t even realize that his inclusion actively ruined other possible character dynamics and character individuality

Good perks for him are make it rain dog if you like using and controlling the batarang, ice to beat you to make opponents move slower for your combos when you batarang them, or that’s flammable doc for free damage after hitting with a batarang.

Triple jump isn’t necessary since you can dodge upwards with Batman but it’s ok. I would recommend Aerial acrobat instead it’s god tier.

It demonstrates how strong aerial acrobat is with his dodges to get to literally the top of the map to finish enemies

But Batman is just like, dang I gotta pray to the lord that taz doesn’t eat my batarang

Or actually play the character in a manner that accounts for opponents that know that destroying rang is priority in countering Batman
