The plan is still to run one before the update, including both content creators and beta testers, so we can gather as much feedback and bug reporting as possible. Since there are a lot of gameplay changes, we’ll really need feedback on the overall balance, what you think about the new weapons, attachments, devices, and all the new systems in general.

Right now, we’re still polishing a lot of things, so it’s a bit too early. But yes, we do plan to do one.

Ya know one thing about the bots in modes like tdm, deathmatch, gun game and such the bots nav at the start they all just get together and walk in the same room until they catch up to each other and kill each other then they move around the map however in versus and body mob it’s a little complicated while playing just like tdm they move to the same area they always go at the start of the match however it’s different on versus instead of going in different areas of the map they go to the same places every other round making the match end or just a bit to quick sense both the enemy team and the friendly team all just go to there starting nav area and kill each other while the real player is just watching or running around the map unless there was 1 or 2 enemies left. And that’s one thing I hate about bots in Bodycam would have been nice if they had there own separate nav mesh and just go to areas separately

Thanks a lot 😄 we totally understand, and honestly, we miss that atmosphere too.

The reason we removed the forest map is mainly because, gameplay-wise, it wasn’t fun enough in its current state. Players could get lost too easily, the flow wasn’t strong enough, and overall it needed a lot more work to really feel good to play. It also had performance issues, so we didn’t want to keep it in the game in a version that wasn’t living up to what it should be.

That said, we definitely want to bring that kind of environment back.

Before that, we’re first releasing Trench, which is also an outdoor map. It’s not a full forest map, but it will still have a strong natural atmosphere with a lot of trees, vegetation, and even some small forest sections. Most of the trees are dead, so it has a much darker and more oppressive vibe, and it fits really well with some of the new gameplay elements we’re working on.

Then later, the idea is to bring back the forest map, but fully reworked from scratch so it feels much more coherent, more intense, and more interesting to play, with better level design, better performance, and more stressful open areas too.

Progression system/rank, long term player goals, persistant lobbies, loadout customization, varied game modes, wide map selection, regulaer patches with bug fixes.

The big update is coming, and game development takes a long time and lots of money, but the game's hype train has long since left the station, it will be interesting to see how they keep up with bug fixes and content updates going forward
