When I play humans I always seem to get shot by someone camping in a dark corner somewhere. I went into a backroom lobby and waited until hearing what was going on around me and it took a full 30 seconds before the silence was broken as everyone in the lobby was hiding ina dark corner not moving. Unfortunately the only way not to get shot in the back by a respawn is to do this hide in a corner thing. Hopefully it is one of the things getting addressed in the future

There probably is if you tweak Engine.ini, I tried the Engine.ini from that modding website but it didn't really help, then I tried some tweaks AI told me to try and I couldn't tell if it was placebo or if the game looked cleaner for a moment, but then the game deleted my Engine.ini afterwards

why is the reissad points and career points messed up now? before this CQB map update you used to make 300+ reisaad points each match playing with real players and around 300-500 career points. I cant explain but I can gice you my experience (I mostly play versus and these are my findings). You must win or be on the winning team to get career points, simply playing in the matches isn't qualifying for reward. I have no idea how the allocation of points is decided. Bots or No bots winning team will recieve both R and Carreer points while the loosing will only receive R. I believe R can be attributed to KDA, team kills, and time in game, but this is my theory not law.

Just FYI, you can earn Scoreboard points from full lobby of just bots. Lobby has to be set to public though and you get alot less points than playing with real people, but it is 100% possible to get top 100 without playing real people if they dont join your public lobbies.

The only bug I know of where you dont get points is if you have your lobby on private, change it to public then quickly queue > people can still join but nobody gets points in the lobby

I personally stopped playing back in 23/24 because my pc couldnt handle it. I know it sucks losing features but I wouldnt be playing if we had more features while being less playable (the features themselves might not have been the issue, but the way they were built causes internal issues elsewhere in the game is my guess)

I never got to see what the game runs like and looks like before the recent updates, I just got the game like a few days ago
I noticed how blurry it looks and how the fps is barely holding up
And then I tried the public beta and it runs so good and smooth and the fps is actually decent, the blur is pretty much gone too

I mean, the guns worked, the animation for the pistol was a bit broken and I think sometimes your bullets wouldn't hit or maybe it was just the recoil doing recoil stuff, but the point is, the current version isn't that much better cause 60% of the time you're squinting at your screen to see if you saw something move or if it was the denoiser doing a bad job and creating visual artifacts, the blood effects were also making it much easier to confirm whether you hit or miss.
But it's crazy because I was actually getting like 60+ fps all of the time using my 5070Ti at 4k DLSS Quality/Ultra Quality (in the public beta), using the current version I have to drop to DLSS Balanced and even then I see the fps struggling to stay at 60+ all of the time.
I know the current version is supposed to be better optimized but really the performance is worse, at least in my case, while the game looks a lot more blurrier and has lots of denoising artifacts and such which are pretty distracting while playing

It really is "as bad as I'm making it sound", I have no reason to lie I really like the game.
And no I am not bottlenecked elsewhere, I got a 5800x3D, 32gb of ram, 5070Ti (which I overclocked to like 3225mhz and actually stays at this speed and the memory bandwidth is at 1088 GB/s (higher than a 4090, no the ECC correction isn't kicking in if you're wondering about that)) and I using a QD-OLED TV (4k, 144hz and yes G-Sync is enabled).
The beta feels like night & day difference, and also it looks super clean I can actually see and aim at people from quite a long distance.

we're still figuring out on how we can turn up some of those things, as it was said previously, we did get a bit too strong on some textures, we want to keep the fidelity and we want to improve it, sadly, we don't want to make the game "only" for huge configs, and we're also limited by current hardware and software, the game is far from done, and we want to get bodycam to the next level 🙏

this isn't true actually, I played the public beta and it was very clean and the performance was pretty good though although it was pretty buggy, but the current version is a blurry mess no matter what GPU you have, even at 4k native with everything set to epic the game is pretty blurry compared to the beta, I was getting pretty low fps it wasn't really playable but I wanted to see if the clarity is better at 4k native...it isn't.

Idt people realize that they are literally almost having to make the game up from scratch. To optimize something to run as say a certain game that was released in 2016 takes a lotnof extra steps, all steps that were skipped while pushing to make and release this within the timeframe that it was. And that other studio in 2016 had many people working to that goal So to have everything we are asking for it is just not something that can happen over night and it sounds like they are trying to put a new map together with all the new mechanics while making it all optimized so that you don't need a $4,000 rig to play the game looking as well as they intend it to look instead of all the recent complaints.

Is DLSS/FSR working properly for you?
I noticed I'm literally getting better fps at 4k native using TAA, than DLSS Balanced at 4k
Well, not really 'better' but I get to play at 4k native resolution and see my fps drop to around 60 (in the most intensive spots), it's better than playing at 1250p and upscaled to 4k in my book and still getting the same fps even slightly lower actually like 58fps or so

Actually no, there's a bug. If I launch a map at 4k native with TAA (on a fresh game launch!), I'm still seeing 40 fps in those intensive spots, and if I quickly enable DLSS (No matter the option), when I switch DLSS off and return to 4k native and switch to TAA again, I'm gonna see an fps value similar to the fps value I was having while using DLSS. It works with any DLSS setting (Be it Ultra Performance or Ultra Quality)

Look I understand where you guys are coming from but also the devs are very slow already and because of that I am so doubtful they are gonna consider reverting some of their major visual/gameplay changes rather then continue moving forward with their current updates they are already working on atm. But you do have the right to voice your opinion so NBD either way 🙂

im on a 9800x3d and a 5080 so there wasnt any concern if itd run or not, but my buddy has a r7 8700f, a 5070, and only 16gb of ram so hes concerned he might not be able to run it
but if bell is running it on a 4070 he should be more then fine i assume
