its not, The zombies mode rank is based off of time survived, and the Regular MM gamemodes are based on wins, currently you can either get 300+R, or you can achieve 500+R from select game modes

Sure, the issue is more than settings though. My mic works but no one else is talking. The game modes that would be good with a mic are too bugged for me to commit to anymore.
Body bomb and versus have issues with the opposite team spawn, hosts quitting, Grenade/no gun spawn, team imbalancing etc
I just run team deathmatch or gun game because it seems immune to these bugs and doesn’t require much communication or anything

I've seen multiple Steam reviews where people have claimed this has happened to them from this game, and just a cursory search through the messages in this cord, it seems like people have been handed VAC bans from this game via seemingly very shotty methods with high margins for error. I'm asking because I generally play FPS at a high level and am no stranger to hackusations—I don't want a fucking VAC game ban on my steam account for playing well, but I'm really interested in playing.
For example: One person claimed to have entered a zombies lobby with modded hours and got a VAC ban as a result, and the RS employee reviewing the case didn't even know that the game handed out VAC bans? Like that shit just makes me nervous. That shit tarnishes your steam profile permanently.

The reports are studied. It depends on their nature, of course, but for example, when we are provided with something like a player who has 10 hours of playing time but who appears in the leaderboard with a survival of 300 hours in zombie mode and we are unable to recreate this exploit, then it is highly doubtful. The same goes for when people report a player who moves like a Formula 1 car. I mean by that we are able to check a lot of things, we have a range of tools for that. That said, a conventional anti-cheat can also make mistakes. I think we shouldn't believe everything we see.

can anyone share they audio settings like their mic, it seems when i try and talk to my teamates in zombies they most of the time cant hear me and i only see the like talk mic show on my screen when i press v only when i host for some reason when i join others i hear the walkie talkie but the green audio voice thingy on the screen doesnt show if that matters at all
