DLSS settings don't persist after game exit. I think it's using TAA no matter what setting DLSS is set to. You have to switch to another quality setting, then back to the desired one in order to get what you set. That's easily proven by framerates I'm getting - lowest one at the start of the game, then moving to any DLSS setting it's just going up from there, again no matter what settings it's been set to originally. Maybe just by clicking apply to existing setting at the menu screen could do it, idk. A bit of annoyance, but nothing major.

Mid-range PC's struggle and I can't blame them, its understandable, so they are working hard now on trying to "Optimize" the game since month or 2, maybe 3 to make it playable and run better.

UE5 is a benediction for indies, although, the optimisation of the base engine is horrible, compared to UE4 or unity, UE5 ask devs to optimise everything and sometimes, it's even harder than getting some features done, although if optimisation is done right, it can really change everything 😅

this engine is awesome to learn and give people ressources to make games "easily", but also a curse 'cause every studio is switching to it and if it's not done right, it'll result in unoptimised update..

a good exemple of that would be vail VR, they started on UE4, switched to UE5, and performance were better for some people, but worst for a majority, although, they kept working on optimisation, and they managed to make the game run on a phone (quest 2 & +) which was just unimaginable if they stayed on UE5

It doesn’t need a single player campaign, that’s way out the scope. They need to make the game run good first.

The only people who want this game to have some easier bot mode are those who aren’t good at the game, which is fine, but that doesn’t mean you’re anywhere near the majority.

And people are spawning in with grenades, on the wrong enemy team spawn etc. that’s where the “this game needs a single player mode” stuff comes from, the only PvP modes barely working.

Also if you look all the way up with your character the camera freaks out and flips you upside down. Idk how that’s not been patched yet as that’s been around since like the beginning

Yeah it’s nothing like cod in the gameplay, running and jumping will get you killed in this game. It’s more like rainbow six but realistic and without environmental destruction.

Only mode where you play anything resembling cod would be tdm or hard point.

Hello, I have a small problem, about 4 months ago, the bodycam worked fine on my computer, about 100-140 fps on epics with AMD frame generation, unfortunately, now after a few updates it dropped to 60-100 fps max. Does anyone know how to fix this? I would be grateful for any help.

I love how this game is kinda somewhat friendly to controllers

This game has turned into complete trash. After 500hrs+ it performs worse than the initial version. Constantly joining lobbies with 1 kill left in match, full of useless bots, spawning with grenades, spawning with wrong teams, no season structure. Drops to sub 30fps and desync. This should have been optimized and bug free by now. Instead it continues to degrade. I would never recommend a purchase.

Equally annoying is putting the time in for a full match and right before last few kills the host terminates the match and rage quits. Or if your on a losing team, ppl just drop out leaving you to fend for yourself because they are afraid of dropping points making it virtually impossible to remain competative.

I get that once in a while, and verifying the files usually helps. Right click on the game in your Steam library, then click properties, then installed files, then click verify integrity of game files.

Long as game doesn’t run poorly, and menu is cleaned up to be smoother and nicer UI and optimized. Me and my buddy have near same PC but while I was running fine on Epic, he had 4-12 frames after the first game. And picking games, navigating menu, or trying to set custom binds are major issues I noticed that were worse then last I played

So tumbleWEED Was mega laggy FPS wise, no matter the rig, it was performing at very unacceptable rates. No rig was able to get above 30fps. It's a very beautiful map, it is currently being worked on for optimizations, so is Oil Rig. as Oil Rig was using up CPU power quite a bit more than it should from what I heard. Once they perform at the level that the dev team finds suitable they will be re-released.
