Go into Bodycam > Bodycam > Binaries > Win64 > D3D12,
Delete the D3D12Core.dll file.

If that didn't work, revert to get the file back and try this to launch the game in compatibility mode

Ultimately, you can try to launch the game in DX11 by entering the -dx11 parameter in the Bodycam Steam launch options.

in an attempt to help people who have lost performance, and if anyone can not crap on this (invite to crap) so the basic information here can be useful that would sweet. and or if anyone has anyting to add they can. If you have a decent gpu or even if you dont its worth trying. as stated before i am doing this with 3090 and BC utilizes 10-11 gb on said gpu with my cpu using about 50% GPU using 80% on graph. I created a resolution of 5100x2880 inside control panel at 60hz. If you then turn on your scaling, then select the custom resolution, you will scale at 2550x1440 thus utilizing less than 3860 and 4096. I highly recommedn trying this, if you do i have the nvidia control panel settings if needed to reduce cpu usage.

and 32 gigs of ram

Dlss was in the game for around 2 weeks last year and it was legit the best for image quality. Even better than tsr anti aliasing which is the second best

We only have fsr in the game and that demolishes the image quality

And its not just dlss that was lost, we also lost ray reconstruction which made the shadows stable and nvidia reflex which helped with the input lag

Like seriously, tumblewood on a 4060ti with lowest settings 1440p was 30fps using tsr aa but it was in the 130s with the same image quality using dlss balanced and fg why would would I not want that back?

gpu usage that low would indicate a cpu bottleneck, but your CPU is a good match so it comes down to engine optimization. It's an ongoing job, Leo and Luca are focusing extremely hard on getting it done for us all

Spent 15 mins in shooting range, found what combination gave the better performance and quality balance and game runs mostly fine now

The other stuff is coming a lot sooner, the zombie stuff is seperate from core development.

The team is a lot bigger and is constantly working on the core mechanics of the MP and fixing optimization issues. I thought you were referring to the new zombie map which is scheduled for late 2025.
