There are quite a few middle schoolers here, and although the advice isn't AS important to them, they shouldn't be completely disregarded with comments telling them that it doesn't matter and to go have fun. It is very important for their future that they set these habits sooner rather than later, so that they start high school with the knowledge of how to study and prepare. Maybe since there are so many junior high kids here, they should get their own role. However, this could go the other way because many people would probably not give their full advice or not take them as serious, knowing their status, even though everyone here is just trying to learn and grow.

Hey I've been thinking, a channel that is read only that gives step-by-step processes to succeed in high school and set yourself up for the future would be really nice. I didn't even know what the Seal of Biliteracy was until 2 weeks before the test when my Spanish teacher informed us about it. A channel that provides informative information on summer activities, good volunteer opportunites, important exam information for things like the ACT and SAT, award opportunities to prepare for like the Seal of Biliteracy, and free online sources would be extremely helpful to people.

As AP Exams are coming up I think it might be a good idea to give #👥ㆍfind-study-partner or #ap-exam-help a new functionality where people can opt to trade their FRQs together. This'll be really useful as a lot of kids may not want to grade their own FRQs due to the simple fact that they can be heavily biased towards their own work. As a result, getting a 3rd party to read over your FRQ and grade it would be a great boon as you know that the result is at least slightly more objective

So the new bot has come out a while ago, and it has been great so far. Here are a few ways to make it better:

-Weekly Reset: the leaderboard automatically resets every week to have users more motivated to study. The way I see this’ll help is by members not seeing people with a huge amount of hours, they will be more motivated to study (to make it to the leaderboard). This doesn’t entirely mean that the main leaderboard is completely going away, as it COULD be a separate leaderboard.

-No-video study channels: There has been a misconception about what study channels truly are. In fact, when I first joined, I thought the the study voice channels were meant for people to discuss/study together, and not just to be watched studying. Maybe there could be another study voice channel where people could watch other’s streams, or even just discuss study material. The reason why this’ll be better is that if it were to be done in a normal lounge channel, then others may join, thinking that those members who are actually studying may be in there for a little hangout. Additionally, people may just wanna study together, so each of them would have to have their streams on. (the channel could have a minimum stream count of 1, and would kick all members if the limit wasn’t reached (or no minimum at all))

Quality of Life updates:

-Mention or reply to the specific user who runs the leaderboard command
-Enhance the message sent in #alerts by making it into an embed, as it looks really spammy

The color of the regular should be changed back to its original color (the light blue). The new color is disliked by many of the members and the demand for the original color is rising. And changing it back would satisfy the regulars.

If the concern is to match the veteran and regular, maybe consider changing the veteran role color to a cooler/bluer color to match the regular.

Also if the contributor is back to its original purple color, it would match with the even department which is above it. Right now it is the light blue which is in a big contrast between the Veteran and Event. Switching Regular and Contributor color would create a nicer and a pleasant color gradient.

I hope this suggestion is taken into consideration as the popularity of the original regular color is rising amongst the members.

I believe that your suggestion wouldn't work that well as the idea has some issues:

1. There isn't really a reason to have a specific fitness partner up channel when you can just discuss this in one main fitness channel.

2. Having an IRL gym bro is different as they are physically there alongside you which is useful when you need help and advice and or for tracking your progress. To do any of those things using this partner-up system means that you need to pick up your phone and ask your partner through text message which kinda disrupts the flow of your workout routine as you might get distracted.

3. When people request for a study partner, it might take a while for them to get paired with another user. And even after being paired, there is also a chance that your partner might not respond as they might be offline or busy at the time that you are paired up.

4. Having a partner-up system instead of a main fitness channel means that advice and support is going to be very much divided across many channels. The idea of a singular main fitness channel is that members who have little to no fitness routines can be inspired by the progress and tips that are shown in the channel. Furthermore, they can always dig up this information in the pinned messages of said channel. This is not possible in this partner-up system as partner channels are private and partner channels are deleted after being closed. This means that all information within the channel will be lost except for a few .log transcripts.

I have to acknowledge that there are benefits to your suggestion, however, the alternative idea, suggested by Thyago, seems like a better idea.

But I dont know how to fit it all together plus homework and maintaining my health" or something like that and then people could offer suggestions on how to manage your time better.

i suggest making a seperate rules channel so it as always in the top and people see it

nah bot commands are meant to be for any kind of bot commands out there available in server not just to see your levels and automatically showing when a user level ups the bot pings the user and it gets annoying at last with that many pings
