Nice! In my first playthrough, making my way through Leyndell went from decently challenging (as you're making your way down to the bottom level of the city) to easy, quick death (bottom level of the city). The amount of guards and knights there are insane, at one point I literally just used the Mimi Veil to inch through an area with a bunch of knights, only moving like a foot in the short periods of time when the knights weren't looking

In elden ring the misbegotten use rare sometimes unique weapons, such as the golden order misbegotten he uses the well the golden order moon blade thing and uses some of its skills as well making this misbegotten unique, the gold order misbegotten is hard to fide and you really have to go out of your way to fide it, but the problem is the misbegotten boss fight at the bottom of the map, the one with the hole complex castle and really deep rooted lore, isht unique it's just a normal misbegotten, which is disappointing as he drops a sword with a really complex backstory. Idk why he doesn't use the grafted blade like how the Golden order misbegotten does, the hole lore is that there going through a revolution grabbing what ever weapon they can fide to fight the golden order, the golden order misbegotten fides the golden order blade and uses it were the castle misbegotten fides the grafted blade but doesn't use it? they should fix the boss and tuen him into the grafted Leonard misbegotten he would have a bigger hit box on his sword and use buffs and stump attacks, maybe have more Def aswell hmm 🤔

Elden ring is the first souls game I've played and I love all aspects of the game, I want the open world exploration that doesn't have any popups and quest directions and it's all up to you where to go and how to progress. I like that if some boss is too difficult with your current gear you can go and explore somewhere else instead then come back to them. I know elden ring is basically on it's own in this regard so I prefer to play something similar to this but i dont want it too easy, i really liked the challenge and this is perhaps the first game that I hate because it is too good. and once you are finished with it you are left with the hard reality that you cannot play any game afterwards because elden ring was just too good at redefining what a good game is, making all the others less enjoyable.

too many open worlds are too easy and not enjoyable or it just feels like its telling you how to play step by step almost like the human interaction isn't that important and it could just be a movie instead, contrary to this the games that are filled with secrets that you have to find yourself, then the combat is really easy. To be clear i don't want to play a game where it's basically "do this, now go here, now get this item and take it to this and they give you this and go to this etc." In each circumstance, either the exploration or combat is easy and of course some just dont have as good graphics as elden ring so i cant figure out what to play. RD2 looks like it has good graphics but idk anything else about it

im not yet ready to start a second playthrough because i really took my time ~130hrs for the first run. i didn't get everything but i sure got a fair bit of optional bosses down and what I meant by open world is that in other games it has markers where to go and you sort of end up just following the map markers the entire game. also the side quests are interesting and give you good items i didn't miss seluvis' quest like from what i hear most people did so i got the talisman and it helped with my build. I like the sort of game that you go to the wiki to get info rather than it being all on the screen for you getting in the way. this way you can choose how much is spoon fed to you and how much you can discover on your own. For my 2nd run of elden i think i will use the wiki to find any items i missed the first time and get every single boss and quest

Keep dodging and try Horah Loux's Earthshaker WA. The shockwave will cancel out most of his attacks with longer wind-ups, and the 2nd input will throw him on his back. Regular Earthshaker is a decent substitute so long as you're making use of the followup heavy attack.
