I personally think Placidusax was lazily done. He just teleports and sits still. Midir was a rampaging dragon that punished you for being underneath him.

Midir's fight had a better flow and a wider variety of attacks.

I’ll admit, his first phase and when he roars for like 20 seconds and gives a massive opening to deal damage is very bad, however. He feels better to fight unlike midir. From a melee perspective, i still cant hit midir’s head for my life, so likely im just bad at fighting him. But after playing both games again recently I personally have more fun fighting Placidusax than i do Midir

Midir is a learning curve, I admit. But once you learn to let him chase you, its a much better fight. He is the hardest boss in Dark Souls and gives you more souls than Slave Knight Gael. Not to mention, he's the only true Arch-Dragon you fight in all three games, suffering from the curse of the abyss, the thing consuming the world.

For bosses like godskin duo they outdid themselves and made some crazy tracks, especially with morgott the omen king, regal ancestor spirit, and the final battle ost. A lot of them though are good at best, even malenia had me kind of disappointed when I heard it. It's good but i was expecting something on par with lady maria. Every track in bloodborne is either tragic, ominous and dreadful or scary like gascoin, blood starved beast, or witches of hemwick, while others are alien like or grand/ "magnificence" esc like music trying to describe the incredible presence of a great one in the roof of the grand cathedral.
remember though, that music is quite possibly the most subjective thing in the world and a lot is opinion based, especially my take on bloodbornes track being better, literally just my opinion

I just think Midir is a better fit for a good fight. You're squaring off with an Arch-Dragon, the ones fought by the original Lords before the Age of Fire began. He's gonna be hard, and a lot of people don't like him, because he's hard to kill. Doesn't mean he's a bad fight once you learn the song and dance for him.

I also really like the dreadful tone of fromsoft games a lot more than the inspirational, "it's you against the world, but you have a chance" type of music elden ring has. I much more like the theme of the world being cruel and unforgiving, and you are just in there trying to survive or accomplish your goal against this world that only wants you dead like bloodbornes or dark souls. I really do like sekiros themes too because of how well the instruments fit in with the mythology and setting. Like all of the flutes and rattling instruments in themes like corrupt monk and demon of hatred. Even though it has less choirs in it except for ishiin, which is one of my favorite parts of fromsoft tracks, I still really like I for it's creativity and versatility with it relying much more on the instrument

When I played the other fromsoft games I notice how out of place sekiros was. The other games (note I have not played demons souls) they all had an inspirational kind of tone to them in some places, like a choir of fallen warriors singing and cheering you on to your inevitable victory like soul of cinder or vordt, or somber and depressing ones that took a moment to level you with your opponent and notice their situation like pinwheel or gwyn, and with bloodborne it's less like warriors cheering you on, and more like the souls of the damned crying out and waiting for you to join them (cool quote I got from a video), but sekiro didn't have any of that. It had it's own way of telling the theme and story of enemies or the situation and it did it almost entirely without choirs. It's not as epic or crazy but it's subtle and efficient, it rate sekiros ost probably right above or below ds3 if I had to.
But to each their own, opinions are opinions

Yeah that's true, I found myself finding the next bosses extremely quickly which was surprising since it was my first fromsoft game, but even going back to it after playing the others it's shocking how fast you encounter the bosses in that game. And shift in themes and tone from the areas you are going through can be a bit tough to adjust to and take in. Kind of odd to go from the mystical and dreadful corrupted monk to the reckless and bombastic guardian ape in the same hour if you took that route, or switching from creepy and unknown headless to nobility and finesse in genichiro can easily confuse someone on what the actual theme is supposed to be since there's so many overlapping and different styles of music

Just beat Margit for the first time after maybe a dozen attempts so not too bad! I practiced learning the moves and what works best against him (first time souls player), and started with wolf summon, then basic magic spell until I run out then into combat but kept dying... My girlfriend who doesn't play games watched and said "why don't you fight him with the wolves and then use magic at the end when you don't have much health or any wolves" - beat him first time after that.
