How do challengers do the lvl 1 bosses (ex: Slave Knight Gael)? I’m currently trying to do this but not sure how to approach it. Do people just summon their friends to get through the levels?

and all of Ds1
Sl1 is mostly a health,stamina and weapon/magic restriction
everything is perfectly doable as if it's a normal playthrough
except the Usurpation ending
i found some of the area's in Ds3 pretty easy to run past

Actually on ng+ cycles game doesnt want you to use hardening but dodging attacks cuz on highier ng+ you get more dmg from hardening enemy attacks, on first play you block 100% but then its like you block 90%,80% etc (its not exact numbers, example only)

You don't really have to. It gets much easier to dodge once you get used to the extremely slow attacks. There's a shell that helps with the slow combat though. I don't remember his name though

websites like cdkeys and g2a often acquire their 'keys' in shady ways, and sometimes sell fake keys. i would try your best to not purchase through sites like that, especially if you care about legitimately supporting the company that is creating the game you'd like to enjoy.

This. Those pages are literally a black market. I mean sure if I don't support the studio and their practices but still like to play the game then I get a key there. Otherwise I'd suggest to use official resellers. The reason for me is that besides contributing to a shady business model, the actual devs receive little to 0 of this purchase.

Actually heard from an audio dude you are better off just getting a good pair of heaphones and an inexpesive lavalier mic(or a more expensive one if you really care about yout mic quality), I really like Audiotechnica stuff, got a pair of ATH-M50s from them 6-7 years ago and they are still going strong, they have decent bass but are more on the balanced side since they are monitor headphones.

Agreed on the headphone thing! Lavalier, don’t know too much about those but one of the best mic for all use (music, podcasting, streaming) is gonna be shure sm 7 b. Just gotta remember to get a pre-amp for that one. Audio-technica def is a pretty safe bet too both on headphones and as mic

Its simply how you choose to start your playthrough.

You can pick warrior, and end up playing a hybrid with spells and swords using Knight Armor or rags.

Its however you choose to proceed your playthrough.

keyboard settings are usually pretty bad and you have to mod them to make them any good, but in sekiro they were actually quite good and finally has native keyboard symbols on the display, probably will be the same for elden ring

Pc is better for shooters and the such but pure hand to hand combat games like souls controller dominates..I mean lock on kinda gets annoying on mnk and yea the way its set up is pretty clunky. That's why in 90% of speedrunners and challenge runners you see controllers hooked up instead of mnk. Just kinda makes the game... playable

also being able to play without having to lock on and constantly fiddle with R stick is really great for me

people often forget that you can customise keybinds, and even setup macros if you want on kbm

i like controller for its laid back nature

but kbm is way better for me when i wanna kick some ass
