Then when i got to dlc. it was hard. I got walled by barioth for about a week until i beat it.

I wouldn't say so, but it's also a different kind of difficulty
For example, with a hard souls boss, preparation would only be using slightly more specialized equipment but in the end if you don't play almost perfectly or find a way to cheese it you'll die anyway
With MH, preparation is almost the whole game, because that's where the hunter part comes from. If you learn about the monster you're hunting before going out instead of just headbutting forward, the fight is completely different

I would actually because it has difficulty options. There’s 4 levels of difficulty, I’ve been playing on the second difficulty, labeled “Normal”, and it hasn’t been too hard at all. I went a good hour or more from the start without dying, and some of the bosses are the only thing that gave me the biggest trouble.

So overall it’s not super punishing. And there’s some other aspects to it that are pretty player friendly. It also has some noticeable differences from souls games and souls likes, but yes as a newer souls like player I’d say it’s one of the best ones to start with.

As someone that’s played all of the from soft souls games, and a number of other souls likes, I think Beserker is one of the best non from soft souls games.

So i came up with this I was thinking how I want to build my pc and I thought 🐹 so I came up with a mathematical equation to run a pc on hamsters

Suppose:
• Hamster exerts a tangential force F=0.5
• Wheel radius =0.1 m
• Rotational frequency f=2 rev s
Then
P=0.5×0.1×2π×2=0.628
So the hamster produces about 0.63 watts
U need about 1400 w - 1700 w to game for 2 hours and random stuff for 2 hours
So given 5 wats a hamster a day caus I dont wana kill them or have a massive loss of hamster
I would need 6800 hamster
1700 divided by .5 is 6800
Thats if i want 24/7 acess

Also the up keep it will cost an avg of about 130-140k a month to feed said hamsters per month. In bulk assuming 20k

Using offline mode, creating a new save file, and setting high process priority did not resolve my problem. However, I was able to fix it by changing the process affinity by unchecking the first two cores (core 0 and core 1). I can only change the process affinity when launching the game directly from nightreign.exe. Will I be able to play online this way? I haven't tried, but I suspect it might prevent me from playing online without anti-cheat. When I start the game using start_protected_game.exe, it does not allow me to change affinity (or priority) and throws the error, "The operation could not be completed. Access is denied.". I've tried all of this in offline mode because I don't wanna risk being flagged as a cheater by launching the game in online mode without anti-cheat.

For those interested, I solved my issue by starting Steam with an affinity that restricts it to use only the P-Cores of my CPU, using this shortcut:

C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start "" /affinity C03C03 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe"
which then forces all games launched from Steam to use the same affinity. Changing only the game's or the anti-cheat's affinity didn't help.
