📯 As we welcome new and returning players to ELDEN RING, we are opening up another round of applications if you would like to join our volunteer community mod team.

✨ We are therefore retiring the role function of the bot shortly in lieu of Discord's New Member Experience, which will allow you to pick roles using a shiny new wizard.

🟡 In lighter notes, we are adding a new **Linked Role **(Linked), which will enable you access to a new section: the #trading-gateway .

🔗 This Linked Role requires you to link your Steam, Xbox, or **PlayStation **account to Discord, essentially giving an extra layer of verification - and knowledge that you are connecting with real users.

🤝 As we will be using this Linked Role function for other forthcoming features, in this specific channel, you will be able to read new rules around Trading, and then opt into another role, 'Nomad', to be given access to the Trading channel. This will be set up as a Forum with time limits on your posts to discourage spam.

📔 As a result, this means there will be changes to Rule 14. We are updating the rule to the following:

*14. No discussion of cheats, loopholes, exploiting glitches or other similar topics will be permitted on this server. We do not look too kindly on discussing or bragging about muling or duping either. These practices are not officially supported, and for your own safety, we cannot condone them. Begging/bothering other users for items, runes, gifts, or the game itself, is also not allowed on this server.

Trading will only be allowed within the designated Trading channel, which will require the Nomad role to access. Any trading messages posted outside of the trading channel will be grounds for a mute, and repeat offenders may be banned. Finally, selling or buying any in-game asset for real currency is not permitted and a bannable offence on this server, even in the trading channel.*

🟡 To find Linked Roles, on Desktop hit the dropdown next to ELDEN RING at the top of your channel browser, where you will see 'Linked Roles' underneath 'Invite People'. On mobile, it's a similar process, where you will find the Server Info at the top of your channel browser with the three dots, and you can pull up to find 'Linked Roles'.

📯 Greetings Tarnished, we come with a couple of updates for the server.

🟡 Many of you are finding it tricky to access the trading-gateway channel. To do so, you are required to grab a Linked Role by linking your Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, or Steam account to Discord - see below for a straightforward diagram and the steps required to access the trading-forum. These steps are similar on mobile too.

🔗 That Linked Role will also give you access to a new area: the Roundtable, where we have rolled out a few voice channels.

🎤 These channels will have a maximum of three users for each channel, but we readily await any further feedback you may have.

⚠️ We will stress that these voice channels are unmoderated, and the extra Linked Roles requirement should help curb unwarranted behavior, but do fire over any thoughts or comments you have directly to @dire beacon's DMs.

eldenringicon So for some time, there has been an issue surrounding trade spam outside of the correct channels. We added a word filter to block those messages outside the trade channel.

However, if you link a role to your discord you will be able to use the newly filtered words as per normal.

worm_scream But how do I Link a role/Access trade channels?!

eldenringicon Get the Linked Role:
Go to the server menu and select "Linked Roles" (different from "Connections").

Accept the Terms:

You will now have access to the filtered words surrounding trading.

Head to the ⁠https://discord.com/channels/867784605293084702/1080442788484763730 Channel and accept the terms to acquire the Nomad role.

We have identified a bug in #ELDENRING #1327235321351372831 that may occur during the Everdark Sovereign Sentient Pest fight, making Expeditions impossible to complete.
To address this issue, a partial temporary hotfix will be released tomorrow, July 4. A server maintenance will be held at 01:00 PT | 10:00 CEST | 17:00 JST to release the hotfix.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

A hotfix has been released for #ELDENRING #1327235321351372831 that temporarily adresses an issue where the battle against the Everdark Sovereign Sentient Pest would not progress under specific conditions.

Additionally, several other issues concerning the Everdark Sovereign Sentient Pest have been identified, and will be adressed in a future update along with a permanent fix for the current issue.

The Everdark Sovereigns Gaping Jaw, Sentient Pest & Darkdrift Knight Nightlords will come back in pairs over the next three weeks in #ELDENRING #1327235321351372831.

We are thankful of your valiant expeditions against the Everdark.

The return of the first three Everdark Sovereigns will happen as follows:
July 10 to July 17 - Gaping Jaw & Darkdrift Knight
July 17 to July 24 - Sentient Pest, Darkdrift Knight
July 24 to July 31 - Gaping Jaw, Sentient Pest

The Everdark cycle continues, and the Night grows deeper still.

The Everdark Sovereigns Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast and Fissure in the Fog will be the next abominations to lay waste to Limveld.

The timing of their arrival will be announced at a later date.

~~NA codes will be going out at <t:1636480800:f> <t:1636480800:R>. ~~ All NA/LATAM codes and NA/LATAM consolation emails have been sent.

These are dynamic timestamps that display differently for everyone based on their own timezone.

Emails will be staggered to avoid killing any email servers, so codes will be sent during a span of approximately 15-30 minutes in EU and throughout the day in NA.

If the codes start going out and you don't get yours instantly, give it a little bit of time before you give up hope.

Regardless if you have been selected or not, please be civil to your fellow Tarnished, and avoid spamming, complaining, or sending threatening messages to fellow fans. Failure to adhere to these basic principles will result in a ban.

Additionally, attempts to sell your code, or buy someone else's via this server will also result in a ban. Code begging is also forbidden.

We are rolling out 4 new opt-in channels to the server ahead of launch, 3 of which you will already have access to if you opted into a platform role.

Firstly, is the #spoiler-discussion zone. This is to help push spoiler discussion away from the General Discussion channel. Here, you can freely discuss spoilers, and is strictly opt-in - our only considerations are no images or media, or late game spoilers - anything else you are free to discuss. Please opt in to the new role, <@&945291188913721395> in #assign-roles.

Secondly, we are setting up platform-specific channels for #945269468186177546 , #945269513191043082 , and #945269555125686282 . We've noticed a lot of PC tech talk has been dominating the General Discussion channel for example, which can be better served in the pc channel. If you're not opted into a platform role, you can find them in #assign-roles.
