wukong retained all the good aspects of fromsoft bosses, the animation, the tempo, the movement, the massive damage chunks if you mess up. But removed all the bad part of it, making overpowered skills having massive cooldowns unlike me spamming taker's flames in elden ring on every bosses until they die.

a lot of the bosses in wukong reminds me of isshin and genichiro from sekiro, but more thematically themselves.

absolutely beautifully designed boss fights.

it does feel like you get a series of many mini bosses than the souls format of one big boss after a long trog through the dungeons.

I played it on and off since launch

it's good but the game has WAAAY too many bosses tho jesus

like I fight a boss and then not even 5 minutes later I run into the next one

plus abusing the dodge button

kinda makes bosses lose their epicness when you spam them all over the map

like in elden ring almost all bosses are super memorable but in black myth I can't even remember anything about the bosses I killed half an hour ago because in that time I already fought 4 more bosses

yeah and boss freezing abilty is way too strong lol

well most of them hit like trucks

all you have to do is play patient, get a couple hits in here and there but just not play greedy and wait for that ability to come off cooldown

once it does you just go in and take out 30% of their health and rinse and repeat

I mean yeah but the freeze ability is literally 0 risk

you just wait for it to come off cooldown and you can go in even if the boss is mid combo
