You don’t have to deal with his floating passage entirely if you don’t want to. Can deflect the first few attacks and just back up and let him swing at air while you recov posture or heal.

I talked about this awhile back. I hear if you don’t save and quit perfectly (save and quit and at least wait until you see the Bandai Namco logo) you will lose all save data with no way to get it back. Supposedly resting at a site of grace before saving and quitting will decrease the chance of this happening as long as you don’t quit too quickly after resting at the grace. Even if you do everything perfectly some people have still lost save data.

Apparently this glitch is caused by the presence of two saves, the online save and the local save. If these files don’t both save because of internet issues or a power outage, or because you attempt to load a file while an update or server maintenance is happening, then you’re risking it all. Anyone have stories about this and do you think playing offline is safer because of these issues?

That’s a really good question. You mentioned if it happens when it’s turned off. I don’t know about that. But sometimes when it’s on, it can mess with things and cause loss of progress. Some people recommend disabling the cloud and manually backing up your saves. Unfortunately for us Xbox (and PS5 players), I don’t know if we can manually back up save data. If you want to keep the cloud on and keep backing up your saves, make sure it happens consistently. You can do this by turning the internet off then on again in the game’s settings (while playing the game of course).
