My first encounter with the game today was an invisible Tree Sentinel, but it fixed after I obviously died

Fighting the boss outside of the arena, you can have the OST and HP bar on all the time you want...
You can consistently get this, as soon as you get in the bossfight with those dudes in the cave, you want to aggro the guys with weapon arts, arrows or whatever, and get out of the arena, then if you hit the boss the bossfight activates and you are outside the arena fightning with it... It can lead to an easy cheese i guess, but the other guy doesnt aggro... so you can kill one of the two but not both, leaving you somewhat softlocked. ||I tried fightning the dragon with this bossfight active and the only thing that changed was the HP bar of the dragon not showing up||

DeSR just looks better than ER. ER was made with old gen consoles in mind which held the game back graphics wise
DeSR was made as a PS5 exclusive, a far more potent console than both xbox one and ps4 and it shows in the graphics department.

As someone who was completely blown away by demons souls remastered, i still think elden ring looks better.
Demons souls has raw graphical fidelity over elden ring, and the lighting/particle effects/reflections are all objectively higher quality, but I think there is a certain artistry in from softwares graphics that has been present all the way since demons souls on the ps3. The games from software has released have never been at the forefront of graphical innovation, but they have always put ample effort into intricately crafted armor/weapon/enemy designs, and stylized world elements that build atmosphere.
Bluepoint critically lacks from softwares art direction, and as a result made a game that has high graphical quality, but lacks the character that from software puts into their games. Elden ring doesnt have next gen graphics, but it has a stunning blend of modern techniques and stylized artistry

Reuse of assets is common in game design. If you think this is the first game to ever utilise it I've got bad news for you. It may be the first your really noticing it but it's a normal common place thing. They worked on that asset to what? never use it again even when the setting is appropriate for it.

The reuse of assets allows them to spend more dev time developing other important assets that they don't have but require for this game. The could have slightly redesigned and done a new run down shack but that would take dev time away from new assets. Stretch that across the entire game design pipeline and suddenly that one month delay finds itself being a much larger delay.

My answer to that is probably but we will not know for sure until the game is actually out. They’ve never done an open world before an open world always comes with more bugs and potential for bugs than a more linear experience. I think it is going to be a fantastic game but I don’t know for sure that it’s going to be bug free? If that makes sense?

It is just way too soon to be able to say for 100% certainty that it’s going to be one way or the other when it actually comes out. The best we can do is make assumptions. I’m going to buy it regardless I don’t care if it’s the most buggiest game ever. Skyrim was absolutely loaded with bugs and it’s one of my favorite games of all time.

2nd even on decent players, with free aim u can get some chip damage or even full WA
3rd the point of the second attack is that people cant roll in time and u can manage that with right practice.
Partizan is one the best spear imo in ds3 for duels only because of force trades, backswings, chip damage and of that comes from the WA

No. SS backswing can't be reaction rolled consistently. I'm pretty sure I already said but it's effectively the same speed as an estoc kick (f7) so significantly faster than even a dagger. Reactable backswings have far less uses than unreactable ones. Even just being twitch reactable makes it significantly worse. If you don't understand that you just have no clue what you are talking about.

the guy only got hit by the r1 because he queued an attack. On any latency, you can freely roll both attacks on reaction meaning when you roll at the very last second. In lurking's clip, he rolled a bit early, but we tested this a lot. It doesn't work
