Something to note as well is that i have done an rl1 run and you basically cant tank much for fire giant and he was maybe top 3 hardest bosses for that run

You can consistently kill EB before it can do anything at RL1 without rolling
Fire Giant is a big damage sponge but also dies quickly

It did took me tho about 40 tries tho hah! The ability where he jump, land and hit the ground with his shield, the aoe ability always 1shoted me and it took me a while to figure out how it actually works, because even tho i dodged it, it still killed me.
I'm still not 100% sure how that ability works, but i feel like you have to dodge to different direction, not just dodge the ability itself.

@hoary nexus This is my 2nd character. I forgot to use Ranni's Dark Moon there, so I was doing 10% less damage. Also, I optimized my co-op build to have fairly high defenses, so I could also have increased my damage output if I had focused even more on damage, although, as you saw, my damage output was already quite high. I took 1 hit during that fight, but it did little damage because of my defenses and 50 Vigor.

Its quite hard to describe how to get there. But you need to head north, turn east before the castle (shadow keep) then you will see cliffs and continue south

Yellow arrow: run up there and check the ledge on your right until you can find a path to descend.
Green arrow:easily just follow the run down with the arrows.
