maybe some specific parts of that casting time are constant too but the overall cast time is smaller

I think we're just referring to different things when we say startup time, coz I am specifically referring to the time after you hit the button to when the glyph appears on screen

in result, you get a 21 frame attack on 0 vdex and a 14 frame attack on 70 vdex

My best advice for you if you are using physical is to use a Mimic Tear with a very good level to help you a lot.

Now If you dont want to use summons then just learn how to dodge until you learn his patterns or try to use some magic to kill him as well or use bows
