I tend not to use any buffs except stuff to increase stamina/stamina Regen otherwise fights end too quick because as you can tell, my entire playstyle revolves around literally constantly attacking

Although based on my Elden beast fights which I do have buffs on, Each hit of the weapon art hit for around 3k + blackflame Burn % based damage, with a full weapon art being 2 hits (although against most humanoid bosses it's usually too slow to go for the second hit unless they are staggerable like Malenia

Just my opinion, I would go either Dex OR Arcane, not both, get some points into vigor ( 60 ideally ) and pump dex or arcane really high, 39 endurance might be nice also for carry weight and heavier armor.

go for a starter class that provides ranged attack, in my case its the samurai, study the boss for a bit and look for an opening where you can attack without getting hit ofc, and once i ran out of arrows the boss was down to less than 50% hp which is really good and its Uchigatana time, that melee weapon is so zamn strong for a starter weapon because the skil attack deals chonky damage and poise damage.

but actually, i regret doing it because the ornamental str sword is ass, i mean its probably not but i realized that uchi was much better so... 💀

You should ask this in #exploration , but if iirc you just have to find where the location of the ladder that leads to the rampart grace is in Ashen.

The grace isn't there but the rest of the area is pretty much the exact same although the star fists may be gone due to ashen technically being a separate map from Royal

honest opinion, dont let your kids touch a soulslike game or any game from fromsoftware until they're teens, elden ring isnt targeted towards the much much younger demographic, and i really doubt that a young kid around 9-12 years old would be able to enjoy a game where they'd repeatedly die, let alone a game that's so difficult to play

Yes, I do believe so, and even if elden ring wasnt made for the younger ages anyway, you still tried to rate it in their perspectives in a fair way and offering ways to avoid the bad stuff like turning off the blood setting and so on.
