Try doing some value studies
I am aware this map is a work in progress however you need to adjust the contrast in the base color and painting

Putting this into greyscale while the red and blue contrast well the places like andor are not that easily readable make sure thats not the case otherwise it can make your vision unclear

Hope this helps but yes values , hue and saturation are very important things if you want the contents of said map to be readable
