What I thought for him was more of his race being born from a horrible miracle, an heresy. I mean... Human and a sheep, you can understand.
And exactly because it is disgusting, his specie has been hunted down for years (for leather too, they are still an animal after all) but managed to survive and populate anyway.

My character specifically seek revenge towards all of those that bring unjustified suffering to his people.
He has a dialogue simulating an in-game quest and he has a voice over too
