On my first ever run of the game, the most I ever died to any boss was once, most of them I beat first try, and some I even beat no-hit. The weapons are not fun to use, the bosses are not fun to fight, and the run to the bosses often requires more skill than the boss themselves.

Nice. My friend played it too and said that it may have no weapon variation but It kind of makes up for it with its skills. Instead of building the game in Froms traditional sense they instead polished it around 1 weapon and 1 player making it play quite different from its predecessors. But, since it is a Fromsoft game most fans when it came out played it and were disappointed, expecting dark souls and instead getting the game, finding no weapons, then usually quitting but, some people thought it was fun and really good compared to DSSeries creating the divide everyone sees today. Its like grouping CSGO players with OW players, on the outside the same type of game with guns but on the inside completely different.

So everyone at the end of the day do not compare your games. Just because it was made by the same devs does not mean its the same game.

And everyone may still be a little irritated that their devs made a game that was not enjoyable and deviated from Fromsofts main series, it is still a different game.

It's my most played mh game so far but now that sunbreak is out I'm realizing that mh is just getting worse and it wasn't that amazing to begin with. It's just full of bs, the only thing that changes with every title is what exactly the bs is

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Rise or Sunbreak either, but World was fantastic for me due to how alive the locales and monsters felt interacting with one another in their various different states, stuff like Odogaron being able to jump up and grab a Legiana corpse back to its den, Great Jagras actually going around looking for monsters to stuff itself with so you never know which mode it’s in when it engages, Anjanath spitting mucus on trees and diablos and barroth splitting open cacti and anthills just as they should, World shows off how these creatures would actually be in the real world and even if it isn’t that difficult at times I still think it’s an incredible game
