Looking forward to chatting about the game. Seems really good so far, even better than the first one quite possibly.

So what are the things you think could be better right from the start?

My take is, there are too many predators and they're too visible and present at all times. I'd think it'd be better if they'd be lurking and hiding in shadows much more and stalking the player even, so that when they do appear it'd be scary. Now that you see them a mile away it's more like bracing yourself to take the bites but there's little you can do but just evade them some, and it isn't scary or exciting, just a nuisance after a while.

Imagine if the predators couldn't normally be seen at all, hiding in the caves or whatever, until you are right there? Would make you move entirely differently, plan your routes and all that. Make it a little scary even, create proper tension?

So in short....much fewer predators in general, but make them really something to avoid and surprising. Like the exploding sulfur fish in one.

I would also prefer darker caves and all, but instead more effective diving lights then, so you'd have much more darkness outside the scope of your own dive lights. Now it's so light down there it's very easy to navigate and again, it'd be a little scary even if it were a little darker down there without so much neon bright foliage and all that..
