I’m pretty sure Thom and meatie tried to help you Dearen, and if you were asked to send in log files that’s the best we can do is have the devs look at them. It’s not going to fix your problem, no, it doesn’t typically in such situations that’s more to let the devs investigate what’s possibly gone wrong in case there’s something they need to fix with the code or what have you. I’m sorry if you misinterpreted the goal of sending in log files, but that’s not usually to fix your save or game it’s to understand what’s happening. If they do find something useful to offer advice, they’ll get back to you. But UWE is a small studio so they’re saying that so people aren’t expecting a response to every submission that’s made. Which makes perfect sense tbh @solar haven

I see, sure you can use nocost to build things but you need the blueprints for whatever it is you’re building with that command, otherwise you’ll need to use the unlock command as well for certain things to build them (there’s a spawn ID list with all commands and names on BZ wiki)

Ok so yeah there is a "save game" bug played it again for a second time. Only this time I was saving the game every 15 minutes, i had a timer on. So out of 7 hours of play time it happened again. game crashed and closed out. I only lost 15 minutes instead of 9 hours yesterday. So yes save every often.

Yeah for sure. It feels like a memory glitch and it doesn't matter what platform you run either, the same out come happens. It feels like the world is so big and the changes you make are so much in between saves that it can not handle it.

Actually, I was lucky

I had encountered the crazy terrain glitches and wanted to investigate them. I made a save just in case I wanted to get back from where I would be traveling (since I was exploring the terrain glitches). I noticed the save icon at the top of the corner wasn’t disappearing. It stayed like this for about a minute before I tried leaving the game. This also did not work. At this point with the glitch, your save is as good as dead. Completely corrupted. Mind you, this was my first ever save on the game. After a few seconds of confusion I just closed the tab and booted up the game again. I lost some progress but ultimately nothing wrong happened to my save. I took to this channel to ask about what had happened and I learned of the bug. Someone explained to me that my case was extremely lucky, as my save hadn’t corrupted despite going beyond the point of no return. It’s pretty funny though. Through talking with the person, I learned that what I’d done actually saved it. If you see terrain glitches and can’t save, immediately leave. Like in an instant. Otherwise it’s a 99% chance your save is corrupted.

tl;dr I got extremely lucky and narrowly avoided corrupting my save. Probably set a world record too for how long I lasted without causing irreversible damage. Always keep a recent save and exit immediately if you get really bad terrain glitches that won’t resolve within seconds.

Yeah, if you ever have terrain stop loading all you can do is immediately force quit it’s your best chance to not lose the save entirely. If you try to save it’ll get stuck doing so and probably corrupt the entire thing

It’s a “world streaming bug” is what it’s called in technical jargon and so you can’t save the game can’t complete the process so that’s why you have to quit and just hope the game can continue from your last save point

There’s snow stalkers in caves, sometimes there’s fur lying about you can pick up otherwise you use the spy pengling

Add spines and stuff to the prawn to act as a deterrent. Home decor. Etc. although I guess dressing like an apex predator kind of defeats the purpose of coexisting within the planet.

They are grouped in the Carnivores tab. The text about them being Leviathans are incorrect.
