From the accidental spoiler + the sample collector I gather that I need to find a sample of something (i'm assuming khera cure?). I looked around the frozen leviathan, couldn't find anything. If I just need to keep looking around the glacial forest area i don't want to know exactly where it is, but I wanted to check if i'm off base on broadly where i should be looking, and to know if I need a spy pengling since I forgot mine.||

Its because you are more experienced than you were when you start the 1st. You had no idea what to do and stuff so you were very scared, but in the second game, you basically are better than before and everything is less scary

i think reapers were what scared me the most in the first game so i wish they had a few reapers around the map. like 2 so they wouldn't bother you as much but you would still see them sometimes

@glossy flume but it's not just that now almost everything is lit up so you can see under the water no matter the time of day which is a HUGE plus that the original didn't have but it takes away a lot of the scare factor so it kinda makes sense why some of the areas were not lit up in the first game and the scariest leviathan (in my opinion anyway) in the game the Ghost Leviathan's mouth thing is lit up a light blue so it's kinda hard to miss even in dark areas so then you know what's coming then you just have to hope you can get away before it gets close enough to grab you but in the original in deep dark areas where there were big scary monsters such as the reaper for example and they roar you don't know where they are coming from making it harder to know where to go and which way is safe

Yeah but the same thing is with the other leviathans really, the chiliserate takes the role of the reaper and shadow of the ghost. You are right about the lighting though because the chiliserate is always very easy to spot and therefore easy to avoid, and the shadow is in a cave of glowing crystals.

It takes some good depth module, but there's a huge amount of minerals ... It's a cavern between ||Marg's base and the northern Ventgarden|| where you can find lithium, diamond, rubies, and uraninites, there's fish for food, heat for a thermal plant, and no hostiles at all

They’re very annoying, I put in a personal request to allow their effects to be turned off similar to how light flashes are, because they’re triggering to sensitive people (I take migraine preventative medication so I can do without games giving me migraines tyvm ugh)

They sink eventually but I’ve noticed the physics don’t usually kick in until you get in range of where you died and lost your belongings
