a lot of times in the Deeper TB they come in big clumps, like the Safe Shallows in the first game, but every now and then they come individually, as in the Lost River in the first game

The sea truck is cool and all but one of the biggest problems I have with it is that I'm not able to see with cameras and stuff

I'm limited to that one vision this is especially bad when you have a lot of modules and you don't know if you're cleared to go the path or you just get stuck somewhere

The sea truck feels MORE clunky than the cyclops

The only thing the sea truck has more than the cyclops in features is the aquarium module and the ( mid games spoilers) ||ion teleportation|| module

There is absolutel no need for cameras. Just squeez your seatruck through any tiny hole with all the modules attached, no problem. Just do repairs when you are back home. I go with my 5 modules everywhere, almost no issue with tight spaces.

Another reason why I want cameras is to see how close the Hostile creatures are so I can actually properly use the perimeter defense system because I can't properly turn when I try to look normally

Also no issue with that. Just zap when they have you in your mouth, literllay no damage at all. The evironment is not that hostile as you might think.

I use both.
Horsepower upgrade, because it offsets the slowdown if you have several modules attached
And the afterburner, so I can just whiz by hostiles rather than use the perimeter defense really
I don’t use afterburner to go faster in general, because you’d likely run into something more often than really end up helping yourself out because there’s floating ice, and other obstacles around unlike in the first game

You just have to make sure not to "overfill" it. Officially animals cannot die in the tank but several users including me have experienced some dead when it gets too full. No idea how it happend

I suggest you bread a certain number of each species and keep them as "backup".

I was kinda disappointed that there wasn't a Lava Zone though, when I heard about the Fabricator Caverns for the first time I thought they'd be a sort of penultimate biome leading into a lava zone where a final thing would be located, like in the first game
