I usually make a secondary base in upper lilypads it’s not the best view but lots of good resources in the neighborhood and places of interest as well
I need to make more land bases, because it’s kind of neat being able to do more building on land than in the first game

They aren't honestly that terribly connected, but I played BZ first myself and loved it. There is one major connecting thread (besides planet and biology on it ofc), but imo was fun to find out the connecting bit in reverse as well

Also, imo, SN has a better story because there really isn't one (or is at least really simple), only two-ish major beats and the ending. That's not a bad thing tho, the background/lore storytelling is phenomenal, though I think that both games share quality there, BZ just had a more complex personal character story to tell, and it did seem that get list in its own threads at times. Nature of any complex-ish story in a pure open world tho

One nuclear reactor is plenty, but make sure to build it in maximum distance from your base because it makes a very irritating sound. I build it on the far end of my base. Then I emptied the entire cristal cavern from all uranite and filled four lockers with 192 reactor rods. So enough energy for the rest of my gaming life.

It is not.

And to be free where you are in the sanctuary you go sideway while facing the rock. (The terrain was modified but it didn't reach the stable version yet.)

The habitat builder works without battery inside the bases, it's a design decision and not a bug. It prevents players from being softlocked when building things like partitions for instance.

Bro I know EXACTLY what it says, its saying: Rework the Biomes settings / options, to match up correctly with the Terrain.
Basically meaning, “Work on the Biomes settings to stop Creatures from randomly noclipping, by fixing the terrain. With biome settings so it matches correctly with the Grid.”

That might’ve been correct on accident
