There’s one area that’s blocked you need to either use prop cannon or find another room where there’s a vent in the ceiling you access
There are some laser cut doors, it helps if you use the highlight feature under accessibility settings to see because wrecks are really dark

That highlights the doors you can cut and the PPU panels as well

Based in the void, ideas flowing through my head of what beasts of the deep lurk farther into such open areas dominated by the species class, What new gear the fabricator would go crazy attempting to fathom how its going to keep its survivor alive, Things like the water processors in the main game but that processes microorganisms to make processable food, Keeping the player on the ocean floor by having much bigger and scarier leviathans above the map, Essentially making that the void, Maybe boots that keep you weighed down the the surface so you can walk normally and hide better or suits designed to withstand the pressure as you would only have so long before the damage would hurt you too much. The lifepod having Scripted event of exploding after a certain period of playtime akin to the aurora
