So i've seemed to have played this game out of order. About 2 hours ago I found the greenhouse and all that, and since then have not been directed to go anywhere. 2 hours into the game I had already discovered the omega base and collected the logs so there was nothing there that was new, ive already been to the other (3?) locations and im not sure where to go now. @modern sedge Just an FYI, this won't help with your specific issue. Putting "better plants/fish" in the reactor won't increase the amount of power it outputs, however it will increase the time before you have to refill it.
The issue you have is that your base is using more power than it's producing; no amount of additional solar panels or bioreactors will help with this as they only increase the total "pool" of power. You need something like a well-placed thermal plant or a nuke reactor to increase your energy/minute.

At first, I too was a bit surprised at the removal of the medkit fabricator. But I do admit, it makes sense. I always ended up with lockers of medkits I never used in SN1. Making what you need is just common sense. You don’t need to hoard them. And there’s actually quite a lot of freebie medkits available in the game too, although you’ll likely not encounter too many early on, but there’s a few you’ll find. So having played a bit, now I agree with that decision wholeheartedly. And when you start the game, it’s so easy to just make them from the creepvine mesh. When I go to make bases elsewhere, I just take one creepvine seed with me. Once it grows at my new base, I can collect seeds and slash it a couple of times to plant another seed plant and vine plants, so I have plenty of extras (I like to keep 2 of the creepvine seed plants and two regular creepvines in a growbed for a balanced look, usually separate by some ribbon plants or gel sacks or whatever). It’s not difficult to carry one sample with you in your seatruck when going to make a new base somewhere. And I keep a few medkits in my truck, and inventory, always

I asked the devs, that problem hasn’t been reported in Subnautica the first game, at least there aren’t any official reports of it filed. It might happen on occasion, but no one has filed a bug report like you have, that’s the first one we have received.
However, the world streaming bug (that’s what it is called) is well-known to occur in Below Zero, the follow up game to Subnautica. It’s very frustrating indeed, I’ve experienced it on three separate occasions myself now, on Xbox One and also on PS4. Because we don’t know what is triggering it to occur, we haven’t a fix for it yet. But we still are working hard on that. And because a lot of code is shared between Subnautica and Below Zero, once there is a fix for the world streaming bug in BZ, the fix can be backported to Subnautica and should be expected to fix any similar occurrences in that game.
For now, I wish I had better news, but it seems we all have to wait patiently for a fix to be found.
If it happens when playing BZ, the best thing you can do is force quit the game, even if you’ll lose progress. Because if you try to exit the game through the game’s exit menu, it’ll try to save, which it will get stuck doing. And that runs a hefty chance of corrupting the save and losing all of it.

I can't seem to figure out if this problem is just on my end or if its the way the textures just are in the game. I have high and low quality versions of textures mixed all over the game. It's really jarring. Here's another example in the sea truck

@Devs Really well done with the jukebox and making it have spatial sound. I especially like how the relationship between sound, steel, and water is implemented, e.g. when music is playing in your base and you are near the base but outside. Very nice work!
