anyways, the most interesting part about the void guardian creatures- which is something that is true in both the original and below zero, is that even though they stop spawning if you go far enough away, they start spawning again at around six thousand meters away from the edge.
They spawn for about 100 more meters, before they vanish again

Another really weird thing is that once you get reeeeally far away, the water colours start changing as you progress, as if you're going through biome changes when really there shouldn't be biomes this far out

For example, here's one screenshot

And here's another one a few meters away at the exact same time of day

These 'pseudobiomes' where the light changes also seem to be square, but I can't for certain confirm that without further research
