Usually the safest option is to run away. If you can't get away, beat it up with your prawn suit. The default arm deals the most damage, but the drill arm has a wider target area.

@upbeat templeI really hate to ping, but the Prawn Suit repeatedly activating its jumpjets as soon as I am out of it so it rams me for 50 damage and forces me to use one of my precious medkits every single time it happens is hair-pulling frustrating, and is driving me up the wall. It makes the Prawn so impractical to use that it's almost useless underwater, where the jets are powerful to hit you and you are always placed directly above the Prawn when you leave it, meaning you're directly in the path of the Prawn should it decide on its own to randomly jump without anyone in it.

If you take a storage & fabricator module set, especially if you’ve got ion cells, you can “compress” materials while out on a run. Change the salvage to titanium then to ingots. If you’ve got lithium, make plasteel. Turn copper into wire, silver into wiring kits, etc. Because once you have the ||recyclotron|| you can convert it back at your base if needed

then go to the "console disabled" thing and click the white button

there's this weird bug on the console where when you try to deselect the "disable console" button, the debug screen goes away. To fix this, I have to enable the console when I'm holding my PDA and the escape menu is up.

you should definitely play Subnautica before Below Zero. Not only does BZ take place after the events of Subnautica, there are important story elements that you won't understand if you play BZ first.

One of the characters in BZ you learn a little about in one data entry in S1. And one key thing they are researching in a side story in BZ you learn what it is in the main story of S1.
However i think it makes more sense to play BZ first because then you are really feeling what the main character is feeling not understanding some of the context while trying to figure out what your sister was doing and what happened to her

They really should update the repair tool, it’s wierd how it’s the only powered tool that doesn’t need a battery to craft making it possible to get infinite batteries with the recycletron.
