I just don't like being limited to what's in the modules instead of being able to build the inside myself, so I also have to try and choose modules super carefully and even straight up drop cool ones solely because I can't afford the slowness or module limit at the end of the day

a lot of modules have a very specific and rather niche practical use that makes them just not worth taking along

especially because the features of all the modules could probably be done in the building space of probably like two or three modules if you could build using the space inside

Basically played the whole game on the most up to date experimental version starting a few days before full release cuz I was told the only thing it was missing was the ending, Come today im heading to phase gate area to finish the game. Notice portal isn't there i need to follow Al'An through, sadly saved game after interacting with him and making him move to the back of the room, went and changed to the live version and save loaded fine but portal still isnt there, don't think theres a way for me to fix without restarting ;(||

Sounds like your save is corrupt. This could be related to the steam cloud glitch, check the pins and switch to the steam client beta (steam the full launcher/client, not Subnautica).
