||The way I found it was, there's a sort of underwater cave a bit to the left of where you'd usually dock, on that strip near the ramp/bridge (left if facing the island from the ocean), follow that underwater for a bit and you should come out in that bit of water shown on the map||

HUGE SPOILERS||So my opinion on the ending, i think the initial end was better than the first. I loved the initial last play bit, where you got alans arms, that was great. I think they should have done something like that in the first, as for the first i had the initial though of, "thats it. I just go, i dont get anything else" and to get that cliffhanger was just amazing. I think, if they dont do another game, they should give us idk maybe a mini movie ablout waht happens, cuz im so curious. I also loved the closure we got with Sam. I think sams story was great. Couldve done alot more with ALAN, cuz the body building, and just having to scan artifacts was anticlimactic, where as in the last one finding those huge bases was just so cool. I also think the leviathans were great, but i do think they shouldve done more. Like in the first one we had seatreaders, and the Reefback that were super unique. All of the ones in this just- killed you. Anyways, id love to hear all of your opinions, thanks for reading. ||

Yeah that's gud. There you can scan map. And if you find a second base you have good chances to use them as navigation points so you know direction to go for the mine.
I personally didn't found the mine currently, also don't use maps from internet, this is how I plan to find it
