So you could only leave the planet once you cure the Frozen Leviathan, and do all of Marg's stuff. For example, you would need a White Tablet to activate the Phase Gate, and Marg would have the White Tablet. She would only give it to you once you had disabled the satellite tower, and cured the Frozen Leviathan. Then once you got the tablet, you could open up the Phase Gate with Al-An's help. But surprise, of course Alterra noticed a massive energy signature on the planet, and came down to try and intervene, but Marg saves you, and jets off in the ship they tried to use to stop you. Then you and Al-an jet off to the Architect Homeworld. Basically, it is the new story with the original ending.||

no, ||margarite has nothing to do with our escape, she doesnt even know what were doing, even when we leave she just stays on the planet unlike where the sea emperor was directly trapped by precursors and then helpps us escape, the aurora storyline also connects to precursors because it shot down the aurora, the three are beautifully connected in the first game, but in below zero, there is no reason why we cure the leviathan, until we see the leviathan we havent seen one thing about kharaa because its been cured, it would be connected better in the original early version of bz||

You've completely missed the entire point I was making. Yes, you can tie the storylines together with lore. Yes, you can rationalize it. That wasn't my point. That wasn't the point of the original comment, either.

My point is that the 3 storylines in SN1, Aurora/Lifepods, Degasi, and kharaa, are independent. You don't have to visit any lifepods, at all. OR repair the Aurora. You also don't need to visit any Degasi bases. All you need to do is get cured and leave. Closest you get to these being linked is needing the rocket blueprint from the Aurora, but my original point about repairing it still stands.

In BZ, ||you don't need to cure the leviathan. You also don't need to do Marg's story. All you need to do is help Al-An.||

As you can see, they're independent of one another in SN1 just like in BZ from a gameplay perspective.
