There is a very small chance diamonds can also be found as a Ore Vein. Ore veins are somewhat plentiful in the Arctic Spires, but diamond ore veins are usually located quite deep - beyond 200 meters.

The Degasi was a Mongolian ship manned by a crew of six that crashed on Planet 4546B en route to a space station. The crash occurred around a decade prior to the events of Subnautica, in identical circumstances to the Aurora.
Paul Torgal mentions in one of the PDAs that the Degasi was taking a "detour", implying it was not on its normal route and got too close and was shot down.
Three crew members of the Degasi survived the crash, these three were Paul Torgal, his son Bart Torgal, and Marguerit Maida, a hired mercenary.
Paul, Bart and Marguerit scrapped the Degasi in order to construct the Degasi Seabases found on the Floating Island. They went on to build a base in the Jellyshroom Cave, and then in the Deep Grand Reef.

You really should use the booster module. Prawn can jump really good with it, even put of water. Its ||in the mine|| if you missed it. If it isn’t there, your save/worldgen was corrupt.

Man, 30+ hours on this game suddenly gonna turn into 60. Had a glitch in which my base stair's disappeared. Someone told me to do a ghost command which cheers, helped fix the broken stairs, but apparently now I'm locked out of achievements unless I replay it all again :( Feeling mighty down. ||And like, I guess I could see a kind of similar control scheme used in like, a low/no-gravity zone where you're kind of "swimming through space" but that might be too much of a departure and I'm still not sure how they'd handle a lot of that, like level design or areas where there is gravity. It just doesn't feel like it could be SN 2 rather than a spinoff or separate entry, instead of a direct sequel to the original. Kind of a Xenoblade X thing would make more sense||
