Huh, either the chart on the Seatruck horsepower upgrade page on the wiki is wrong or the "Speed" counter is not in m/s in the F1 game menu (it is though). With 4 modules and the horsepower upgrade I'm only supposed to move at a top speed of 5.09 M/s but I still hit 8.50 (instead of the normal 9.20 or so with no modules on). That's not bad at /all/

my only complaint with this game that I have is that many of the cave systems are very spread out. This is very unlike the first game where there's that element of progression from top to bottom. I feel like it leaves less incentive to build bases considering all the moving parts involved normally building a base, which sucks because the locations are really cool and they added new base features. excellent game everything else considered.

I’ve played around 35+ hours trying to do everything slowly, enjoy the atmosphere and the mechanics and I have to say, the dialogues are a masterpiece, ||Marguerit’s scenes|| are also well made, the current biomes are indeed beautiful. But It is too short, ||doesn’t go as deeps as I was expecting||, leviathans are ||**way weaker and less dangerous || and there aren’t many threats in going down except ||shadow leviathans|| which are meh for reasons I mentioned above

i wanted to skip to building a large base and do my absolute best to create least amount of batteries. i managed to build a large base using a found battery on the island, one from the repair tool which didn't require me to build a battery for it, and two that i built that one were used for the seaglide and one for the scanner.
i ran all 4 batteries out of power before i managed to build this base and the charger inside it.
and that is with me swimming without my glider for a 3rd of the time
