Yup. It targets you 5x more when you are out of your ship/prawn. Prawn can kill it with 50-75 hits with the claw

But it does 20-30% damage to prawn when you let it glomp you

I agree. However, you can kill it quicker if you can use grapple and claw arm though (grapple lets it pull you toward it without using thruster power). Unless you managed to jump on top of it. Personally my loadout is always drill arm on the left and regular claw arm on the right. It does a good job.

Yup same loadout here. I didn't use the grapple to fight them personally, just hugged a wall and tried to stay under them. If you can get them to lunge attack near a ravine they tend to get stuck too and can't turn around allowing easy smacking/drilling of torso

The best tip I can give via text only is to find the pool of water with buoys in it (you can actually get your seatruck in there from the open ocean area that the drop pod is part of) and check in that area because it's in that area

They're super easy to kill if you do, just knife them down. Or throw a flare, they'll stay away from any flares.

Nah well done. Ultimately it'll be basically impossible to help with that. All you normally have to do is just look up and follow the roof until it starts to go back towards surface side. Also upload a screen shot (WINDOWS+SHIFT+S and drag a box around the game and paste it in here), mark the checkbox as spoiler and that'll help me know exactly where you might be.

Yeah you'll need a thermos to hold the coffee in. Only useful if you plan on exploring topside for a long time though, it only increases heat and peppers do the same thing so.. But if you're doing a long run it can be useful, make a few thermos' and go to town

M&K is something consolel devs almost never add, it simplyl means they have a console that you can type in. Online games that have chatboxes recognize keyboards by default from the console drivers itself. There's nothing special, SN devs have nothing to do with it. Short answer is no, alex.

Then don't restart, worst case is you don't get the guaranteed achievements that you can get on a later playthrough if you seriously wanted them for whatever reason. You might not even have them disabled, there's no telling until you accomplish an achievement and see.

Uhh, the order doesn't really matter you can safely play the second one and then the first one and get similar connections in the story. Really they're two separate stories in the end, just with a lot of references and a couple characters from the first one.
