I think the seatruck is a good, if not better alternative because you can customize it as you wish at a fairly cheap price in materials. You also get it a lot earlier on in your play through, and start getting more fragments for better pieces to it like the fabricator module and the docking bay module

Mixed feelings about the seatruck. I like the idea of being a sea trucker and the modules are cool, but it doesn't have the feeling of progress that building a cyclops engenders, and you can't build in it so you can't really make it your own

@crisp birch Find and follow Altetra Glowing Light Sticks (they are like guide / reference points for you to follow toward something of interest) The "Under water Mountain" is like relatively close by to where the last known signal was for the "Pilot" in your PDA Locations.
