Note that switching with experimental might fix temporarily your issue, because there is something in it that will force the base to be regenerated. But if you still download old files from the cloud, you'll have the issue again after restart.

yea, i think its quite convenient to build it there cuz you're like ontop of marguerit's base and therefore the deep lilypad area, where lots of fragments are in the nest and if you head in the direction of the glacial bay, from the lilypads, you also pass the tree spires and purple vents on either side, so its quite useful.

@true bloom the beauty of this game is that people use different approaches and do things in a different order. What I thought was bad other people use and fair play to them. This is only an issue if you are trying to police how other people play or expect everyone to be like you. The prawn for example is very useful depending how you play. Certainly the safest land transport. "Monkeys bring garbage" ... no you just failed to learn the game ... monkeys bring stuff based on what you pin to the game. That is how you get what you want. Regarding Sam being a lesbian: it is just backstory and it works so why not. There are several PDAs relevant to different characters relationships. It is backstory which adds to characters.

Along with this, Subnautica 1 had a ton of 'useless' things as well, but then again it all depends on play style. What works for one doesn't work for someone else. I know one of the mods doesn't like using the prawn for example in the OG game, I for example do really like it. It's a choice you can make in this game.
