And the thing is, i'm sure there was a good reason they had to scrap the rear view camera, some technical limitation or whatever was causing bugs. But it's not like when I read the details of it, I'll somehow think "oh I see, that explains it and they're justified in leaving the seatruck handling in such a disastrous state". No. Paying customers aren't really concerned with the technicalities of these issues, they just care about the end user experience and the final product. If the devs can't deliver, even for good reasons, they'll get hit in the ratings.
I had to disconnect each module and push it out of the cave separately, and then assemble the truck again, just because I couldn't see which way to turn in order to back it up. 😩

Why do people go anywhere with the seatruck... The point is, if it fits going into a tight spot, it should be able to back out of there. That's the bottom line. And the fact that the vehicle handling is worse than the first game... that shouldn't happen.
Even if you're not in a tight location, you still can't back up without hitting stuff.

You're comparing apples and oranges. Seamoth = Seatruck with NO modules. SUre, not looking around is not a big issue. But Cyclops = Seatruck with several modules. Looking around is essential. AND the cyclops was way faster than the truck with several modules. This thing is barely crawling.
seamoth was also smaller and snappier, you could turn fast to look around.
Overall the BZ vehicles took a big hit in user experience.
Not to mention that you can't build anything in the seatruck, so you can't bring your mobile base with you anymore, which was another reason to take the cyclops everywhere.
