So I was just swimming around on the surface around the Aurora, totally unsuspecting of anything, when suddenly something snatched me from under the water. I agree more with Charlie's idea about killing creatures: "discourage people from doing it". Removing things is only going to make the game bad tbh. Looking at it now I think they should have kept the stasis rifle for the people that did legitimately use it. People that want to kill everything will do it anyway. What I don't agree about still however is that bigger creatures don't respawn, you do get something out of killing them while the idea was that you didn't. They are no longer a threat to you, so it's still a viable option to kill them because of that.
If the devs really want players not be able to kill stuff they shouldn't have given them HP. Not just remove random things that can be used to kill creatures, that seems to me like a fix for an issue that they created them selves 😅

If you deconstruct 1% or more it doesnt matter of the moonpool out of range cause you cant deconstruct when standing inside, you can then go inside and deconstruct the rest which lets you fall in the water without swimmin, like your standing on land, you cant get anywhere then

The only thing that is reallyy different is that you don't have to look for the story like in the first one. The story is more direct(voiced characters, cutscenes). But yeah, the basic exploration is the same(altough your progression does go faster since the game world is smaller)

I'd say yes, or you could wait untill full release which includes the ending. Do be aware that it is a different experience because of the story driven aspect(for one, you won't feel as alone all the time)
