I wouldn't recommend to skip it, it's true that it doesn't have the scope of the first game but it's well worth a playthrough (And I liked the QoL features added)

Additionally, and this is very personal, I prefer the setting of Below Zero (I like polar regions) even if I must admit Subnautica is the superior game overall

coordinates are only for pc, instead go to the koppa mining facility, it is right next to the delta island (the big island with the radar and the scary lady) and go around it until you find a dropoff and thats probably the mining facility

I had a bug sounding like that on ps4 some years ago: when I loaded a save, sometimes prawn upgrade UI didn't show when accessing the upgrade panel and all installed upgrades were lost. I started to remove the upgrades before saving and when reloading, repeated until the upgrade UI showed.

one of the later updates also greatly improved optimization. I had Subnautica 1 on an SSD for a long time to try and reduce load time and pop-in, but I was able to move it to my hard drive after the update and still have it work better

I would say it has its charm. It’s good if you like find creatures and biomes. The map is smaller and some of the mechanics are clunky and glitch at times. But all and all I enjoyed below zero immensely.

Darn, I guess the recyclotron is really useful. I think the first time I learned that was when I used it to get Spiral clippings when I weren't supposed to (I still haven't found adult ||vent gardens|| by recycling a piece of synthetic fibers and just growing them.

there are 3 things that i dont like about subnautica below zero: 1. its somewhat unstable - crashes somewhat often - maybe bc i have an older system but idk, 2. people that dislike subnautica bz bc "oh how easy" and "why is the map so small" and 3. people that say the sea truck is bad and "its slow etc."

U can use 1storage 1 fab and docking but then u have to craft stuff and recycle it at home with recyclotron to save storage soace on your travels. Craft stuff like advance microchip and things that require many different rss to craft for optimal storage
