That's because when all is full, energy is drained from the storage part of the first reactor/plant/solar panel, and if it cannot produce power faster than it's used, base energy goes down. When the first power source is empty, second will be used and it starts to refill (so at that point two are generating power). If the drain is less than the output of your two power sources being used, energy starts to go back up. But again when the second reactor becomes full, it stops generating power and the first alone can't keep up...

TLDR: energy source with full storage doesn't produce energy, and base uses energy from one source at a time (until it becomes empty and next is used along with it)

If you're directly at your pod and look 1 notch to the left of southeast, around 320 meters away from your pod there's a creepvine forest with a cave system entrance on the floor and if you explore enough there's a thermal geyser and a heat vent in it. You should be able to hear the heat vent from the wntrance somewhere and can help guide you if you get closer or further from it. Try heading right anyway though it isnt too far

Its a bit windy of tunnels though so might need a few power transmitters just to get out of the cave

I don't think that's how it works. All leviathans are referred to as "leviathan-class". If you are in the "leviathan" class you are a leviathan.

I don't think anything officially states what Andy brought up about the 30m being the requirement to be a leviathan, i think they got confused because the pda says in the reefback entry "This vast lifeform is in excess of 30m long and has been designated leviathan class", meaning it is longer than 30m and it is a leviathan, not that its a leviathan because its 30m. In the PDA entry for reapers in SN1 it explains levaithans.

Squid sharks are the top creatures in their respective area. Making them a leviathan

Anyways, while reapers kill reefbacks, reefbacks aren't part of the reapers food chain. A food chain is "a linear sequence of organisms that shows how energy and nutrients pass from one organism to another" (definition from Google.). Meaning, for something to be apart of a food chain it has to contribute to the cycle of the life of these creatures. I would get into all the specifics but we would be here all day. a reaper killing a reaper doesn't contribute to either of their overall life cycles. When you are at the "top of the food-chain" you are at the top of the linear sequence of organisms that contribute to your life cycle. I did a terrible job at explaining this but I hope you get what I mean.

Degasi and Mercury were shot down by accident (“accident” as in they had no prior knowledge of the planet)

Aurora was scouting to see if they could find degasi, then were shot down as well

Mercury 2 wasn’t at the crater so they had no way to be able to disable the gun

And the degasi lost 2/3 (technically 1/3) of its crew, with the surviving member in the crater likely being too traumatised to go deeper and find out what happened.

i can fix the hand glitch by quitting and goign back into the save, but even if I close the game it'll still do the same thing
