She's misguided, and Alterra does not have a very good reputation either. They dismissed her death with no big investigation, and everyone got back to work.

This unethical approach, treating employees like numbers, does make the bio weapon theory of Sam very plausible. And the fact they just exiled her to Outpost Zero instead of explaining why she's wrong is very suspicious.

doesn't matter. Reserve plenty of space sideways. Solar works at 150, but a little slower

you could put some panels at 98m, then power transmitter down

In BZ it does not really matter that much, resources are everywhere in different forms. Near twisty bridges, thermal spires and arctic shallows with seamonkey caves is always good. Pick the biome you like most. A lot of resources in Koppa mine (also drillable ones, needs prawn with drill arm). In the beginning I would stay near or next to your drop pod, why not. Then build later where you like it the most.

Have you considered going diagonal in direction for increased speed? If you got a certain module, don’t wanna spoil anything, but uhh, diagonal movement is like double the speed of going forward in the prawn, along with jumping, you go about 20-30m/s or something along those lines.

Reasons why below zero is boring compared to the first game (I love the game, but yeah some part are not as great as in subnautica):

||1. Smaller and shallower map, biomes transitions suck, "everything feel disconnected from eachother" and the environment is meaningless to the story unlike in the first game.
2. Less scary, because of smaller and weaker leviathan, and we are not alone in a world where everyone died because of alien or virus, like in subnautica, it is far less scar than the first game.
3. Story suck, for so many reason, like the poor written dialogue (especially for ALAN arc). Marguerite should be dead, Sam is a braindead.
According to the YT video: "you go to sector zero, accomplish nothing and the world immediately forgets you when you leave" and about the story "It's a meaningless mess" which is true.
