Gaming is actually close to the cheapest its ever been. back in the day inflation made games cost upwards to 100$ if not more. The original Atari was 700$ and after taxes and everything else any game for it was 130$+.

The entertainment longevity to value is actually insanely good for modern day entertainment. A full price triple A game is 70$. A movie ticket is roughly 8$ (varies in location). You pay 8$ for 2-4 hours of content highballed and you can only see that ONE time. Most games now being 20+ hours. You are paying not even 10× the cost of a movie ticket for 10× the play value that's more engaging and overall entertaining imo and that you can play ANYTIME. Not considering the fact most games now have MORE than 20 hours of content. Some are online with INFINITE content. Some have great replay value where you can get hundreds of hours out of it. But even most Triple A games now at a minimum of 25+ hours of content if you do sidequest or trophy hunt. So you are getting a way better bang for your buck

You could argue streaming services but you are paying then 100$+ yearly for the entertainment. You pay 70$ once and you have the game forever

I did not go to crystal caves before, and if I am going there, I would not plan on returning ever again so I always do everything in one go

I did the same for the iceworm section where I went to the location only once, and same goes for the frozen leviathan area, though that was a dumb move because I should have built a prawn before going there and healing it all in one go, and I didn’t even have the suit, so it was quite annoying but I at least didn’t need to return there again

It took me only 25 hours to complete.
But I must admit I loved below zero, and did so from the start even though by the end I was pretty much done with nothing left to do except go into the caves and build him a body and see the ending and so I was bored of it by the end and started to miss subnautica 1. But the ending was majestic so I think that redeems the end of the game

You could glitch under the map and recover them. Depending on your save you may get some glitch spots where the land does not load fast enough and you can get under with seatruck. Regularly happens on border between the koppa mine and surrounding area for me. When you accidentally sink with whole prawn, you will know.
You will have to place beacon at spot where snowfoc got lost or you wont be able to find it swimming under the map.

Something that has 4 black eyes, but still uses echolocation. It has large claws, red stripes looking like spilled blood. It's very weird, it was made to put you back in place at the bottom of the food chain.

In comparison, the Chelicerate is a functional species. It's believable, even if alien. It's much more streamlined and majestic, very bulky which makes it appear larger than the Reaper from up close. It terms of aggression, it's not different. It's just not copy pasted all over the map like Reapers.

Clearly, both creatures were made with different ideas. Chelicerates were never made to "replace the Reaper". They're even in different artstyles, and serve different roles in progression.

The chelicerate’s heavy armor plating would seem less streamlined than the reaper’s smooth body, but the head would seemingly produce far less drag.
