Correction: free space is only required for fishes to make more eggs, not hatch the existing ones, if I recall correctly.
Hatching takes significantly longer than single bed rest tho, so hit the bed and go for a walk.

Crystalline sulfur in below zero is basically as cave sulfur in first game: sulfur plants in arctic kelp forest caves. Delta island is a good source for sulfur. In below zero batteries and power cells retain their power level when used in crafting, so if you use two empty batteries, your crafted power cell will also be empty

Considering that the void in Subnautica and Below Zero is a boundary of the playable area, I don't see any reason to expand it. For the intended purpose (to keep the player in the map) area of nothingness except ever-spawning aggressive leviathans works just fine

Yeah idk I just thought that more void content would be cool and ik it’s just the playable boundary but it still has a lot of potential

the point of the void is to keep the players within the map, by adding content to the void it encourages players to explore it rather than avoid it which just ruins the entire purpose of the void
