I was there today collecting salvage for titanium and forgot how close the void one can get. I mean the tree spires isn’t far either, so it’s hard to tell with the color but I’m sort of leaning towards your thinking that even with the color of the water it looks more like a void one

I don’t think void ghosts in Subnautica can cross into regular map, so I would be kind of surprised if a void cheli could enter the main map, but the void chelis don’t appear and disappear, they’re always existing, so I’m not sure about it tbh

Is there a way to fix this horizontal camera stutter when reversing direction. This has always been an issue for every vehicle in below zero. Was never an issue in the first game until the 2.0 update and now it happens with the seamoth and prawn. Hoping theres a fix that doesn't involve capping my fps below unplayable.

Yes, there are a number of “unlocks” you get based on the number of ||architect sites|| you find and visit. Luckily your noggin buddy helps mark several on your map to help you locate them

Only a prawn, or seatruck cabin, can park in the moonpool. If you have modules attached to seatruck, they’re just detached when you bring the cabin into the moonpool

Yes, there are handles you can maneuver to reattach modules or pull apart on your own say if you’re going somewhere you don’t want to take everything

One of the best things about the seatruck, later on when you get modules, is having a storage and fabricator module combo. Because you can collect resources like say titanium and lithium together, and then condense it into plasteel ingots for example. That saves a lot of storage space in the seatruck, so you can collect more stuff. Once back at base, you can use one of those special unlocks I was talking about, and then recycle it back into the constituent resources (titanium and lithium) and so on.

I searched the caves all the way between where you hit the purple vents via the caves, all the way back to where you would go down to the cotton anemones place (since they’re not found down there). I mean I spent more than half an hour scouring the area, and I had highlighting on so I wouldn’t miss them in grass. I’ve never had problems finding them before, but I haven’t really played since 2.0

There aren't many of them, seven is low. In comparison you have the trivalves and the squidsharks but they are always at the same place. The pengwin eggs are also rare but you don't really need them as you can grab the babies.

The perimeter defense upgrade makes the shadow leviathan a slight annoyance to your battery. It should be found near ||the base||

Keep your vehicle fully repaired, and if attacked, move to safe spot and repair. I think the damage done is like 40/50 so if you do repair, you can keep on exploring

i think the worst i had was 3 attacks, this strategy of repairing after and moving on works

You have an option. The Prawn is sluggish and weird to pilot on land, but is basically invulnerable as everything deals minimal damage, and you can drill stuff. The Snowfox is fun to pilot and quick, and you can just pick it up, climb ladders, to go through safer shortcuts.

SWARM module for Fox will make them less frequent, and there are paths with less worms. Driving near Stalkers will make the Worm attack them instead. A well timed boost might help you dodge an attack, but not always.

One of the worst features in the game has to be the Worm making you dismount if you're close. It's not a bug.

If you have a Prawn suit, you can just ignore the Worm

Funnily going off what Andy said abt bz being more beautiful than scary, the original subnautica wasn't really intended to be scary that was just a side effect of a couple different things such as fear of open ocean and the unknown

Imo the original is just as beautiful when you get past the fear

I don't think so. There was a change in art style, things are much more detailed in BZ, and less repetitive. There are tons of eels in SN.

And the Crater is like, really empty in a lot of places

I understand the appeal for both, though. SN was going for size, and BZ for detail

The best base location is, un-debatably, Delta

• You are in the dead centre of the map
• Easy access to all outcrops
• Thermal Reactors in the trenches and stuff and thermal spires for all the power you will need for a cheap cheap price

So use thermal reactors

They won't, with one exception. Rock punchers hatched in containment can and will eat rockgrubs in the tank.

I don't believe this is true. However, for fauna to breed, there needs to be suitable space. Each creature takes a number of alien containment "spaces" equal to its width in inventory, and no creatures will breed if the total number of "spaces" used is more than 10 for a multipurpose room tank or 18 for a large room tank. Those numbers might not be precise.

I Wil upload the image from my PS5 but my tank has loads of different species in it and it went from two squidsharks to six so now one roams the waters by my base, one is in the tank and 4 are in a locker

Did you watch the intro cutscene? Did you read the pda entries you have in the beginning of the game? Those tell that you come to the planet to find out what happened to your sister and that you might need to find another way to get out of the planet
