If I build a solar panel, and then a bioreactor, and then another solar panel - will energy be drained in the order I built those items? Or, will energy be drained from the solar panels first, even though one of them was built after the bio? Essentially, I want to make sure energy is always drained from solar first.

I believe there is a specific order of power drained, but I don’t believe it’s based on the order you placed them in.

I think Solar panels are drained before bio, but I’m not 100% sure.

From what I remember, the oldest created power source is drawn upon first. Exception is anything connected by a power transmitter. Such power might be drawn from first if it is the oldest during that save, but when you reload the game power transmitters take a few moments to all connect, so they get attached to your base last, and are therefore the newest.

Yeah, if you are carrying them around in your inventory that is true but I use cured fish early on for portable food. I use peppers/melons as food in mini "pit stop" bases and charging outposts and such.

ya PC steam version is very stable

Save often anyway. Mostly for stuck vehicles. If you get stuck swimming/walking, there is now an unstuck button

yeah but i remember it being hard to notice, whenever the streamer would get stuck. i'd only notice when i'd be close to the ground since the terrain flattens. but anyhow, is there a plugin or some way i can notice issue is occurring? or a setting i can turn on

I believe the world streamer bug is more common on a hard disk. SSD highly recommended

well, doors wont open, including vehicle doors

also saving has only a low chance of wrecking the save. To be extra careful, back up the save folder which is in app folder\SNappdata
