Only one gets a beacon that pops up, that's the easy one, since it's marked.

To me, this is the part of the story that really makes no sense. ||Their race creates a facility that lets them create new bodies, but then doesn't even have blueprints of all the required parts INSIDE that facility. It's like building a hospital but you have to travel around for miles and days and collect doctors and nurses and bandages before you can be treated.||

ALSO i learned how overpowered water purificatoin tablets are

water purification tablets are fun thing.
to make them you need a plant (easy) and salt(harder), and to make water you need snow (hard).
You can get salt and the plant by running water filter machine underwater. But you can't get snow underwater.
You can get snow on the surface, but if you put water machine on the surface, it makes water 8 times slower and makes no salt.
So you cant generally use them to pad your water supply, unless your base happens to be on edge between land and water.
And if you think of making the tablets underwater (salt+plant) and bringing them with you to land... why not just take a bottle of water?

Snow sharks: despite the word sharks being in their name, they are partly land animals. They live on drifting ice and prefer areas with large open spaces. If they need to go on land, they will burrow through the ice in a glacier and pop out through the surface and seek out prey.
Snow bones: Much larger than snow sharks. They live in isolation, mostly on drifting ice and caves. If need be, they will seek out pengwings, brinefish, and even snow stalkers and cryptosuchus' if they are desperate. They are weak to light sources, at the sight of any light source they will try to attack the source.
